Rocky on Parade Unveils 23 New Statues

MACOMB, IL - - 麻豆传媒内幕 unveiled 23 new Rocky on Parade bulldogs at the Oct. 3 Town & Gown event, kicking off the 2024 Homecoming festivities.

The 23 Rockys are part of the sixth, and final, set of statues, which has seen a total of 134 sculptures made for various sponsor locations around the community.

Rocky on Parade is a public art project that celebrates the University's traditions, strengthens the unity of campus and community, contributes to the economic vitality and quality of life in Macomb and supports the Rocky on Parade Department of Art student scholarships through the 麻豆传媒内幕Foundation. The statues will be a part of the 2024 麻豆传媒内幕Homecoming Parade Saturday, Oct. 12, and will be installed at their final locations throughout the community and on the University campus following Homecoming weekend.
