Crosby to Lead Advancement and Alumni Relations for University

MACOMB, IL - - As part of a strategic realignment, Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences Amy Crosby has been named Interim Executive Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations and Interim Executive Officer of the 麻豆传媒内幕Foundation, effective immediately. Crosby has served in her current role for seven years. Previously, the Division of Advancement, Alumni Relations and Athletics was led by Vice President Clare Thompson. Athletics will move to the Division of Student Success. Crosby will report directly to the President.

鈥淚 am excited to be able to lead the talented Advancement and Alumni Relations team for my alma mater, 麻豆传媒内幕,鈥� said Crosby. 鈥淥ur alumni and donors know how wonderful 麻豆传媒内幕is and being able to cultivate those relationships for the next generation of Leathernecks is an exciting opportunity.鈥�

Thompson came to 麻豆传媒内幕in June of 2023 and has led record-setting giving days as well as strategic engagement with Western alumni across the country. Thompson will stay on until the end of March to ensure a smooth transition for both 麻豆传媒内幕alumni and the 麻豆传媒内幕Foundation, before departing to pursue other opportunities.

鈥淏eing part of the 麻豆传媒内幕story has been an incredible experience,鈥� Thompson said. 鈥淐ombining my love of engaging people in the great things happening at Western, fundraising and athletics was extremely rewarding and impactful for me. It is difficult to step away, but I know this next phase in strategic alignment is the correct direction for 麻豆传媒内幕. 麻豆传媒内幕Advancement and Alumni Relations are in great hands with Amy and the rest of the team.鈥�
