Bachelor of Arts in General Studies (BGS) Advisory Committee

Meetings: 4 per semester (once a month including summer months) if needed for appeals

Time: Meeting schedule is set to accommodate as many Committee members as possible; meetings typically last 60 minutes and require minimal outside preparation on the part of Committee members.

Duties: The Committee considers any business that affects the BGS degree program and is kept up to date on the BGS program, policies, assessment, and delivery of online courses. The Committee also considers appeals for admission to or graduation from the BGS degree program. The Bachelor of Arts in General Studies degree program website is a valuable resource for Committee members.
