General Information
Student Employment administers employment programs through Regular Employment and Federal Work-Study (FWS). With approximately 2,300 Regular Student Employees and almost 250 Federal Work-Study Employees working on campus, student employees play a significant role in the day-to-day operations of Â鶹´«Ã½ÄÚÄ». Student employees perform a wide range of duties from general office assistance to those duties requiring highly specialized training in such areas as computer programming and accounting. The wages paid to Regular Student Employees and Federal Work-Study Employees account for over 2.4 million dollars of the Â鶹´«Ã½ÄÚÄ»payroll.
Students interested in student employment should visit the Student Job Listings page. Positions are posted as departments have openings via . (Please note: new incoming students will NOT have access to Handshake until they have fully registered and have been assigned an account by the University. Student should NOT CREATE THEIR OWN ACCOUNT, as it will only delay access). Students search for all on-campus positions within Handshake and should follow the application procedures stated for each position of interest. Departments will initiate employment authorization when a student is selected for a position.

I-9 Information
- Once a student has been offered and accepted an on-campus job, they must complete and maintain a current electronic I-9. The electronic I-9 form is completed in person at an appointment in the Human Resource office by Student Employment prior to the student starting to work or train.
- The I-9 form requires ORIGINAL CURRENT documents to be shown at the time of the appointment. The following WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED : photocopies, pictures, or faxes of documents. There is a complete list of all original acceptable documents listed on the .
- Student Employees must maintain a current I-9 form while employed.
